Fixes the shard-4 failure in run 36217471339. After Escape, restore focus to the synthetic target window so the next F8 reaches the fixture. Visual checks identify the actual overlay and target text without duplicate model verdicts. In the first PR CI run, the cancel case passed on attempt 1/3 and shard-4 passed 4/4. That run exposed a separate HTTP 429 while restoring Pages report history, so this PR also bounds parallel history downloads and retries rate-limited responses; 34 report contract tests pass locally.
